Stunning Lake Ohau

Day 1 Twizel to Ohau Lodge 38km

What a beautiful part of NZ we cycled yesterday. Departed Twizel and biked along Pukaki Canal and Ohau canal before hitting the stunning Lake Ohau.

Weather absolutley perfect, and had a good soak in the hot spa followed by a lovely 3 course meal at the Lodge and a couple of craft beers and Marlborough Savs – not exactly roughing it.

If you haven’t yet been to Lake Ohau get yourself here. Magic!

Only bummer of the day was Andy’s flattie 5km out of Twizel.
