Petchaburi – Ratchaburi

Well we were blazing today on the highway and whacked that 60km out in no time. Once again great wide shoulder which is just as well as there was a heap of traffic. No Sunday rest day here in Thailand it was all go from the first pedal.

So here we are in Ratchaburi which is 80km west of Bangkok and further to the west is Myanmar. First impressions what a cool place, seems to have quite a Chinese influence and after finding the hotel we planned on staying at we went exploring and had the good old staple of noodle soup for lunch. Once again Maps.me has been on fire with navigation and upon arriving at the hotel today (which we hadn’t booked) between the receptionist and his mobile Thai translator we have got ourselves a lovely room for the night. So chilling out this avo, and tomorrow we are planning on a bigger ride to Kanchanaburi.

  2. Great weather and marmite, plus to happy bikers.
Beer with Lindsay Chapman this morning at Monteiths(Avonhead).
Then to a pharmacy at New Brighton, which has to be the most depressing place on earth(New Brighton).. Even the ANZ Bank have moved out.
Safe travels. Our share market and Australia must be happy for Britain to leave the EU as both markets up today.
Just goes to show we do live paradise.
