Pak Nam Pran – Hua Hin – Cha Am

We have had a couple of quieter days in the saddle doing 30km yesterday to get to Hua Hin. A combination of on the highway and this awesome cycle track in pics below. Found the hotel we were recommended which was away from the tourist hub and hustle and bustle of the main centre. Was a night market at the front of hotel which had fantastic stall food and a shocking Thai band but a great way to spend the evening having a few beers and great people watching.

This morning another 30km ride along the main highway to Cha Am a coastal sea side town geared up for the Thai tourists. Apparently busy every weekend with Thai tourists from Bangkok however very quiet at the moment as low season and mid week. We hit jackpot with the guesthouse we rode up to, the friendliest staff, lovely rooms, beach view all for $21. Loving it!

  1. The bike track just looks like Railway Reserve!!!! Loved the photos of you having lunch with the dogs at your feet Lynnie. You didn’t need to go overseas for that – dinner at ours with Stanley at your feet or on your lap can always be arranged:)
Keep enjoying it – looks great fun!
