Prachuap – Pak Nam Pran = 88km

A little later getting up than we had planned as we think the rooster next door was having a sleep in and didnt get to full cry until 6.30am but we still managed to hit the road by 7am. Departed the delightful town of Prachuap which is the narrowest part of Thailand with the Myanmar border only 12km away.

We spent the first 30km on the highway  before ducking off at Kui buri and then cycled up the coast. This was amazing going through rural villages, dairy farms, fish farms, shrimp farms and at times beach right beside us. Heaps of friendly waves and smiles. We had no idea where we were planning on staying the night and after passing many resorts that looked like they had died in the 80s we then cycled into this little Thai town and here we are.

We ended up biking a little further than first anticipated but good to get 88km away and we are now only 24km south of Hua Hin and today we clicked over 550km.  Andys bike not getting any worse at the moment so a wait and see approach again tomorrow.
